SEC Case Against US Pension Trust Moves Toward Trial

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 5:16 PM EST) -- A federal judge has decided not to reconsider his denial of summary judgment that U.S. Pension Trust Corp. and U.S. College Trust Corp. failed to register as broker-dealers, in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's suit accusing the investment firms of fraud in their dealings with Latin American mutual fund investors.
