Haights Cross Announces Prepackaged Ch. 11 Plan

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 7:14 PM EST) -- Educational publishing company Haights Cross Communications Inc. announced Monday that it will seek Chapter 11 protection and file a prepackaged plan of reorganization, citing “broad support” from stakeholders.

The company issued a statement Monday saying 100 percent of holders of senior notes and 90 percent of holders of senior discount notes voted to approve the plan, to be filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
