AIG Asks Ex-Lehman, Patton Boggs Atty To Be GC

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 7:05 PM EST) -- American International Group Inc. has reportedly asked the former chief legal officer for Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.'s New York office — who is now senior counsel at Patton Boggs LLP — to be its new general counsel.

The Wall Street Journal reported Monday that AIG had offered the position to Thomas A. Russo, citing "a person familiar with the matter" as its source for the information.
