More Chinese Carbon Cos. Cry Foul On Import Duties

Law360, New York (January 11, 2010, 6:58 PM EST) -- Yet another group of Chinese chemical producers has challenged the U.S. Department of Commerce’s findings in an administrative review of anti-dumping duties levied on activated carbon imported from China.

A group of six activated carbon producers filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday claiming Commerce erroneously assigned them a weighted average dumping margin of 50.64 percent.

“Commerce’s final results in 2006-2008 review are unsupported by substantial evidence on the record and are otherwise contrary to law,” the complaint said.
