Samsung Takes Another Swing At Taiwanese Rival

Law360, New York (November 30, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Encouraged by last month’s win in a patent infringement dispute, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has hit a Taiwanese computer maker with another suit over its laptop keyboard patents.

The South Korean electronics company filed the suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging that Compal Electronics Inc. violated its patent by selling laptop computers in the United States since April 2002.
