Claims Pared From XTO Natural Gas Royalty Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2010, 6:15 PM EST) -- XTO Energy Inc. has won a round in a putative class action alleging the firm made inadequate payments to royalty owners of natural gas wells in Kansas, Colorado and Oklahoma following a federal judge's granting its bids for partial summary judgment and dismissal of some claims pertaining to the latter two states.
