Antitrust Group Calls For Probe Of ES&S-Diebold Deal

Law360, New York (January 14, 2010, 1:55 PM EST) -- The American Antitrust Institute has asked the U.S. Department of Justice to scrutinize Election Systems & Software Inc.'s purchase of Diebold Inc.'s rival voting machine business to ensure that it doesn't hurt competition in the concentrated market, making the interest group the latest to weigh in against the deal.
