RJ Reynolds Didn't Violate Cartoon Ad Ban: Ohio Court

Law360, New York (January 15, 2010, 3:24 PM EST) -- Overturning a lower court decision, an Ohio appeals court has ruled that an advertisement for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. published in a 2007 issue of Rolling Stone magazine did not violate a 1998 settlement agreement barring Big Tobacco from running cartoon ads.
