EU Sets Deadline For Review Of Microsoft-Yahoo Deal

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 12:54 PM EST) -- The European Commission has set a provisional deadline for the completion of its review of Microsoft Corp.'s bid to acquire Yahoo Inc.'s search engine business.

The European Union's antitrust regulator on Monday set a provisional deadline of Feb. 19 to decide whether to clear the deal between the technology giants, according to the commission's Web site.
