Class Claims Deleted In Windows XP Contract Suit

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 4:51 PM EST) -- A federal judge has signed off on the withdrawal of consumer class action claims in a suit that accuses Microsoft Corp. of breach of contract, trespass and unjust enrichment for forcing Windows XP users to install certain software on their computers.

Judge Richard Jones of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington granted in part and denied in part the plaintiffs' motion to file a third amended consolidated complaint on Friday.
