Taxed, H&R Block And Intuit Settle Trademark Suit

Law360 (December 1, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Just in time for the tax season kick-off, H&R Block Inc. and archrival Intuit Inc. have settled a trademark infringement and unfair competition lawsuit related to television ads.

Although the details of the settlement are confidential, a stipulation of dismissal was filed Nov. 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, in Kansas City, where H&R Block filed the lawsuit in January.
