Dreier Clients Go After 'Stolen' $6.3M Settlement

Law360, New York (January 19, 2010, 1:40 PM EST) -- Two former Dreier LLP clients have asked a bankruptcy judge to allow them to sue to recoup $6.3 million that now-incarcerated Marc Dreier allegedly stole after orchestrating a bogus settlement between the clients and an investment manager.

In the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Friday, Alex Interactive Media LLC and Paul Gardi moved for an order to lift the automatic stay in the law firm’s bankruptcy.
