3 Reach Deals In Broker-Dealer Bribery Case

Law360, New York (January 20, 2010, 6:03 PM EST) -- Three defendants have agreed to fork over a collective $450,000 in civil penalties to be released from charges that they were involved in a bribery scheme in which representatives of hedge fund JLF Asset Management LLC allegedly garnered at least $312,000 in personal services in exchange for directing trades to broker-dealers that provided the payments.
