NIST Launches 1st Version Of Smart Grid Standards

Law360, New York (January 20, 2010, 6:06 PM EST) -- The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued its initial version of standards and framework elements to support the development of an interoperable smart grid to supplant the nation's aging electric power system, an early step in the realization of a key Obama administration energy goal.
