Christie's Retains Win In Suit Over Art Stolen By Nazis

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 3:24 PM EST) -- A South Korean art collector who sued famed auction house Christie's for selling a painting stolen by the Nazis has lost a bid to amend the complaint following a federal judge’s earlier ruling that the contract suit was time-barred.

Judge Loretta A. Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday denied the request of Yoon Young Im to alter her judgment and allow the plaintiff to file an amended complaint.
