Ceva, Freight Workers Settle Overtime Action

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 11:49 AM EST) -- Ceva Freight LLC and a clutch of disgruntled workers have buried the hatchet, settling allegations that the international logistics company denied its freight and shipping personnel overtime pay in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Judge Edmund A Sargus approved the confidential settlement Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, closing the lid on collective claims for back wages and liquidated damages on behalf of workers at its plant in Groveport, Ohio.
