WTO To Investigate US Tariff On Chinese Tires

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 4:12 PM EST) -- The World Trade Organization has agreed to commence an inquiry into whether a steep tariff the U.S. has imposed on Chinese tire imports violates international trade policies.

The WTO made the announcement at a Tuesday meeting, granting a second request by China to establish a dispute settlement body to look into the controversial trade policy.
