Pfizer Wants Wyeth Merger Case Thrown Out For Good

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 2:22 PM EST) -- The only thing plaintiffs suing over Pfizer Inc.'s $68 billion buyout of Wyeth did right with their most recent antitrust complaint was file it on time, Pfizer has said in a dismissal bid, adding that the problems that resulted in the dismissal of previous complaints have not been fixed.

In the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday, Pfizer filed its motion to dismiss with prejudice the plaintiffs' second amended complaint alleging the merger would reduce competition in the market for prescription...
