Lopez Foods Slapped With Donning, Doffing Action

Law360, New York (January 25, 2010, 4:06 PM EST) -- A former Lopez Foods Inc. sanitation employee has launched a putative collective action that accuses the meat processing company of failing to properly compensate workers for time spent donning and doffing compulsory safety gear, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
