Conergy, MEMC Settle Solar Wafer Antitrust Spat

Law360, New York (January 26, 2010, 5:38 PM EST) -- German solar panel maker Conergy AG has settled an antitrust and breach of contract suit against its solar wafer supplier MEMC Electronic Materials Inc.

In a stipulation approved by Judge Shira A. Scheindlin of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Monday, the two companies agreed that Conergy would dismiss eight causes of action seeking declarations that a contract with MEMC for solar wafers was void and unenforceable.
