Home Depot, Others Hit With Web Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 27, 2010, 2:08 PM EST) -- The Home Depot Inc., Michaels Stores Inc., the Kroger Co., and several other retailers and Internet companies have been targeted in a patent infringement suit over a method for presenting viewer-specific information on the Web.

Gildersleeve Holdings AG LLC filed a complaint Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, accusing 11 defendants of infringing U.S. Patent Number 7,000,183 through their Web sites.
