Greenberg, AIG Settle Trademark Disputes

Law360, New York (December 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- American International Group Inc. and its former CEO Maurice R. Greenberg agreed on Tuesday to end some of the many disputes between them, after AIG and Greenberg-owned investment firm C.V. Starr Co. settled 18 court cases and arbitrations.

The exact terms of the settlement remain confidential, but Greenberg has maintained possession of four specialized insurance agencies handling marine, energy and other policies.
