Intel, Others Slapped With Hand Pad Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 28, 2010, 12:54 PM EST) -- Gellyfish Technology of Texas LLC has filed a patent infringement suit against technology giants Intel Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co., Sony Electronics Inc. and others over ergonomic hand pads for laptop computers.

By selling specialized laptop computer products, the defendants allegedly infringe two of Gellyfish's patents, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Also named in the complaint are Asus Computer International, Lenovo (U.S.) Inc., Dell Inc., Alienware Inc. and Power Support (USA) Inc.
