DOC Hits Thai Exporter With Duties Over Steel Pipes

Law360, New York (January 28, 2010, 3:22 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Thursday slapped anti-dumping duties on Thailand-based Pacific Pipe Public Co. Ltd.'s steel pipe and tube exports, finding that the company sold the products in the U.S. for less than normal value.

In a notice published in the Federal Register, the International Trade Administration announced a 5.14 percent weighted average duty on Pacific Pipe's products for the period of March 2008 to September 2008.
