Ex-Willbros Execs Get Prison Sentences In Bribery Plot

Law360, New York (January 29, 2010, 2:15 PM EST) -- Two former executives of a Willbros Group Inc. subsidiary have been sentenced to serve more than a year in prison for their roles in a $6 million scheme to bribe Nigerian officials.

The two former executives of Willbros International Inc., Jason Edward Steph, 40, and Jim Bob Brown, 48, had already pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, which announced the sentences Thursday.
