Court Strips B. Braun Of Key Patent In Dispute With Inventor

Law360, New York (May 17, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A California federal court has stripped B. Braun of a key patent after ruling that the German medical device maker stole the technology from a San Diego inventor.

Last year, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California found that B. Braun committed fraud against and misappropriated trade secrets belonging to inventor Bobby Rogers, and then obtained a patent on the technology.
