Purdue To Hold Off On Oxycontin Generics Until Federal Circuit Ruling

Law360 (May 18, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Generics maker Endo Pharmaceuticals has decided to hold off on launching its 10mg, 20mg and 40mg strengths oxycodone extended-release tablets until after an appellate rules in its litigation with The Purdue Frederick Co. over Oxycontin patents.

“The Company remains confident that the District Court decision declaring Purdue's OxyContin patents invalid will be affirmed by the Federal Circuit Court.
