Taiwanese Staple Fiber Co. Faces Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (February 5, 2010, 3:50 PM EST) -- Upon review of an anti-dumping duty order on polyester staple fiber from Taiwan, U.S. Department of Commerce has made a preliminary finding that one of the two producers originally under scrutiny sold the merchandise well below the standard price.

The department's International Trade Administration said in a notice published Friday in the Federal Register that it will likely recommend anti-dumping duties on certain polyester staple fiber exported by Far Eastern Textiles Ltd. between May 1, 2008, and April 30, 2009.
