Omega Backs Off Training Material Theft Suit For Now

Law360, New York (February 10, 2010, 12:52 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted the Omega Institute Inc.'s bid to drop its copyright and breach of contract suit accusing Universal Sales Systems Inc. and three former Omega employees of stealing corporate training materials, but left the door open for the defunct company to reassert its claims in the future.

Judge Michael A. Telesca of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York on Friday granted Omega's Aug. 26 motion to dismiss the action without prejudice, rejecting Universal's request to toss the suit...
