UK Competition Watchdog Appeals BAA Bias Ruling

Law360, New York (February 10, 2010, 5:59 PM EST) -- The U.K. Competition Commission is appealing a tribunal’s finding that an investigation that culminated in the commission ordering BAA Airports Ltd. to sell off three of its airports in England and Scotland was improperly influenced.

The commission said in a Wednesday announcement that it has sought leave to appeal the U.K. Competition Appeal Tribunal’s Dec. 21 ruling, which allowed BAA to challenge the accuracy of a report released in March by the Competition Commission.
