Agilent To Sell Networks Unit To JDSU For $165M

Law360, New York (February 11, 2010, 2:52 PM EST) -- The measurement company Agilent Technologies Inc. has said it will sell off its network solutions unit to Milpitas, Calif.-based JDS Uniphase Corp. for $165 million in cash.

The two companies announced on Thursday that they had reached the deal, which is expected to close by June 2010.

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Agilent sells electronic tests and bioanalytical measurement tools to the electronics, communications, life sciences and chemical analysis industries, according to its Web site.
