Former Inspector Slaps URS With Overtime Action

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 1:15 PM EST) -- Engineering and construction company URS Corp. misclassified thousands of its inspectors and failed to pay them the premium overtime rate required by federal law, according to a putative collective action.

Joseph McFarland, who said he worked for URS as an inspector from December 2005 through October 2007, filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on Friday.
