US Targets Tesoro Over Gasoline Tests

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 4:26 PM EST) -- Tesoro Corp. and two of its subsidiaries have been hit with a Clean Air Act lawsuit alleging that they improperly tested their gasoline for aromatics, olefins and other properties at refineries spread throughout the Western United States.

The U.S. Department of Justice, acting at the request of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, lodged the suit Feb. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
