Exec Wants Mayer Brown RICO Suit Out Of Refco MDL

Law360, New York (February 16, 2010, 2:23 PM EST) -- A former executive at a Refco Inc. affiliate has moved to sever his lawsuit — which alleges that, as the brokerage's counsel, Mayer Brown LLP violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and cost him a $3.75 million bonus — from multidistrict litigation over the Refco fraud.
