LCD Probe Triggers U.S. Litigation

Law360, New York (December 13, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Amid a global antitrust investigation into LCD display makers, U.S. plaintiffs firms have started to file their first proposed class actions.

In the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, four suits were filed this week against those being investigated, including LG.Philips LCD Co., Samsung Electronics, Sharp Corp. and AU Optronics Corp. Several suits have also been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
