US Steel Cos. Sue Over Chinese Steel Pipe Duties

Law360, New York (February 18, 2010, 6:30 PM EST) -- Four U.S. producers of steel pipes and the United Steelworkers union have filed suit against the U.S. government, alleging that the Department of Commerce omitted crucial information in determining countervailing duty rates for Chinese-made tubular goods.

TMK IPSCO, V&M Star LP, Wheatland Tube Corp. Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel — all of which make oil country tubular goods — and the USW filed suit Thursday in the U.S. Court of International Trade.
