Maverick Tube Sues Over Tubular Goods Ruling

Law360, New York (February 22, 2010, 5:24 PM EST) -- Maverick Tube Corp. has joined several of its fellow U.S. steel producers in alleging that the U.S. Department of Commerce omitted crucial information in determining countervailing duty rates for Chinese-made tubular goods.

The company filed a complaint Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, a day after TMK IPSCO, V&M Star LP, Wheatland Tube Corp. and Evraz Rocky Mountain Steel, all of which also make oil country tubular goods, filed a similar case in the same court.
