Saha Thai Appeals CIT Duty Calculation Ruling

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 2:22 PM EST) -- Steel exporter Saha Thai Steel Pipe Public Co. Ltd. has appealed a ruling adopting certain duty calculation pricing fairness components that the company has contended would require it to pay too high a price to access the U.S. markets.

The company issued a notice of appeal on Monday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, following through on a Saha Thai lawyer’s prediction that the company likely would challenge the ruling. The company will be appealing to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit,...
