American Coal's Quota Claims Against MSHA Tossed

Law360, New York (February 23, 2010, 3:28 PM EST) -- A federal judge has tossed American Coal Co.'s claims over the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration's implementation of a citation quota that allegedly led to baseless citations, but has given the coal mine operator a chance to amend its allegations before completely dismissing the suit.
