1st Circ. Revives Class Action Over Mass. Oil Spill

Law360, New York (February 24, 2010, 3:53 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has reinstated a putative class action accusing Bouchard Transportation Co. Inc. of negligence relating to a 2003 oil spill, saying the district court gave too simplistic an analysis when it denied class certification to owners of thousands of Massachusetts properties in 2009.
