Toyota Supplier Denso Raided In Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (February 24, 2010, 5:04 PM EST) -- Auto parts maker Denso Corp. confirmed Wednesday that the company's U.S. office had been raided by the FBI in connection with an antitrust probe.

A spokeswoman for Denso, which supplies parts to Toyota Motor Corp., said the inspections Tuesday are not in any way related to recent recalls by the beleagured carmaker.

“We are fully cooperating with the investigation,” noted Denso spokeswoman Bridgette Gollinger.

The FBI raid was first reported by the Wall Street Journal, which said the Michigan offices of Denso, Yazaki North America Inc....
