Terminators Win Class Status In Terminix OT Suit

Law360, New York (February 25, 2010, 4:23 PM EST) -- A federal magistrate judge has conditionally certified a class of pest technicians in a lawsuit accusing exterminator Terminix International Co. of failing to pay its employees overtime compensation.

Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Wednesday granted the plaintiffs motion to certify a class of all current and former pest technicians who worked more than 40 hours in any week over the last three years and were not paid overtime.
