Tax Suit Against Priceline, Others Goes Ahead In Fla.

Law360, New York (February 25, 2010, 3:33 PM EST) -- A federal judge has declined to dismiss a suit brought by a Florida county accusing travel Web sites including Inc. of avoiding paying hotel occupancy taxes.

U.S. District Judge Gregory Presnell of the Middle District of Florida said Wednesday that Brevard County had stated a claim for relief according to a fair reading of its complaint, though he dismissed three other claims.
