Texas Districts Jump On Rocket Docket Bandwagon

Law360, New York (December 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- District judges in Texas are looking to expand the state’s hold on quick patent litigation by adopting procedures similar to those created and popularized in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Judges from the Houston division of Texas’ Southern District agreed during a meeting on Dec. 12 to consider adopting patent litigation procedures district-wide, while the state’s Northern District judges have planned a similar meeting in January in Dallas.
