EU Accuses Polish Telecom Giant Of Blocking Rivals

Law360, New York (March 1, 2010, 1:21 PM EST) -- The European Union's competition watchdog sent its initial objections to Telekomunikacja Polska SA on Monday, claiming that France Telecom SA's Polish unit has abused its dominance by hindering rival operators' access to its broadband network.

The European Commission outlined in its preliminary findings that TP has refused to provide remunerated access to its wholesale broadband services in the statement of objections.
