IP Lawyer Falls Short In Spat With Katten Muchin

Law360, New York (December 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has tossed an intellectual property attorney’s suit alleging that a noncompete agreement with his former firm entitled him to damages since it constituted an “illegal restraint of trade.”

U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein dismissed the suit earlier this month, letting Katten Muchin Rosenman off the hook from a slew of charges hurled by Aaron B. Karas.
