Green Group Allowed To Intervene In PG&E Permit Suit

Law360, New York (March 4, 2010, 3:06 PM EST) -- Nonprofit environmental group Communities for a Better Environment has won approval to intervene in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's suit against Pacific Gas and Electric Co. over the utility's failure to obtain a permit for a new power plant.

Judge Susan Illston of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued an order Wednesday allowing CBE to intervene, after the EPA and PG&E each filed notices stating that they did not object.
