DOC To Review Chinese Bedroom Furniture Duties

Law360, New York (March 4, 2010, 4:13 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has launched an administrative review of anti-dumping duties on wooden furniture imported from China in 2009, the agency announced Thursday.

The DOC's International Trade Administration said in a notice published in the Federal Register that it was responding to requests for review of duties on imports from about 170 Chinese companies. It did not say who submitted the requests.

Given the large number of companies for which a review was requested, the department said it would send quantity and value questionnaires...
