Analog Sues Over Patents, Copyrights

Law360 (December 19, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Analog Devices Inc. has filed a lawsuit against rival integrated circuit maker Silicon Laboratories Inc., alleging that Silicon Laboratories’ digital isolator products infringe on five of Analog’s patents, and accusing the defendant of ripping off Analog’s copyrighted technical data sheets.

Norwood, Mass.-based Analog Devices filed the lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Analog’s complaint says that Silicon Laboratories’ Si844x and Si843x digital isolator products infringe the four patents at issue.
