CFTC Ban On Fraudster Must Be 'Proportionate': Judge

Law360, New York (March 8, 2010, 4:20 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission partial summary judgment in its suit against admitted Ponzi scheme operator Robert Bame, while ordering the regulator to revise a requested injunction to make it "proportionate" to Bame's offense.
